From November 4th to 6th, 2025, Economics and Social Policy Student, Laetitia Nouaha, attended the UN Second World Summit for Social Development in Doha, Qatar, where she represented Plan International Ireland as a Youth Delegate.
At the Summit, she participated in a panel discussion on “Through the Eyes of the Youth: Shaping Inclusive Social Protection and Decent Work,” where she discussed progressive employment and labour market policies for young people.
Laetitia also participated in a fireside chat on the topic of “Addressing Structural Inequalities Through Girls’ Education for Inclusive Social Development,” where she discussed how poverty, gender norms, and digital exclusion impact girls’ education and protection with two other youths.
