Students are admitted within the annual quota of 50 places from the following pathways:

- Direct Applications from non-EU/International students: Prospective students who meet the minimum academic and course specific requirements. Information on making an application direct to TCD can be found via International Applications to TCD Undergraduate Courses
- Mature students: Mature students with relevant practice experience. Further information on eligibility and on how to make an application is available via the Mature Student Office . Applicants will be interviewed as part of the selection process.
- Further Education and Training (FET) students: There are 5 places available on the course to FET students who meet eligibility criteria outlined in the FET Pathways Booklet . The booklet also includes information on how to apply to TCD.
- Trinity Access Programme (TAP) graduates: Applications are also accepted from students on the Trinity Access Programme and through the DARE and HEAR schemes.
