S2S recognises and values the dignity and diversity of all students at Trinity College Dublin. Our staff and volunteers are committed to providing an inclusive, supportive, and accountable service in line with the Trinity College Dublin Diversity Statement.
We aim to meet the unique needs of every student, regardless of age, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, marital or family status, religion, socioeconomic background, disability, ethnicity, culture, or membership of the Traveller community and other equity-deserving groups.
All S2S volunteers receive training in accountable space principles, ensuring our Peer Support and Mentoring services are respectful, inclusive, and safe for everyone. This commitment applies to all members of the S2S community, including students, volunteers, and staff.
The following S2S Accountable Space Agreement was co-created by S2S staff and volunteers during training, drawing inspiration from Elise Ahenkorah’s framework.
