Professor Yasseri was delighted at the opportunity to engage with the TY students saying: "It was a real pleasure speaking with such bright and curious students. Their questions showed genuine insight into how AI is shaping our world. I believe it’s vital that young people engage with AI not just through the hype, but with a grounded understanding of how it truly impacts our social lives and communities."

The event included 15 minute lectures followed by small groups of students meeting with the researchers to discuss their work in 12-minute taster sessions. The event has been run twice for the Faculty of Health Sciences but this year represented the first with participants from the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and the Social Sciences.
