We are excited to announce that our weekly Wednesday seminar series will return tomorrow, Wednesday, September 17. We have a jam-packed schedule for our upcoming seminars in Michaelmas term which will bring a variety of sociological scholars presenting on their research as well as facilitating an engaging Q&A session for the sake.

Our 25/26 series will kick off tomorrow with Dr Marco Seegers his talk entitled "Equalizer or amplifier? The role of further education for social inequality". The talk will take place in person in our own 6th floor conference room from 3-4pm.

Our speakers this term will include familiar faces from around the Department, including our own Professor Richard Layte and our brand new Assistant Professors Dr Larissa Meier and Dr Joonghyun Kwak, as well as a variety of visiting scholars who promise to share their exciting research with us!
