Research Interests

Dr O’Sullivan has a broad range of research interests, with peer-reviewed publications from across the spectrum of neurological disorders including Epilepsy, Multiple Sclerosis, Stroke, Headache, Neuromuscular Disorders, Peripheral Neuropathy, Spinal Cord diseases, Neuro-genetics, Neuro-Infectious Disease, Neuropathic pain, Autonomic disorders, Sleep disorders, Behavioural Neurology, Neuro-ophthalmology, Neuro-oncology, Neuro-Urology and Dementia.

Dr O’Sullivan’s particular area of research interest in more recent years is in Parkinson’s Disease, movement disorders and associated neurodegenerative disorders. He completed a PhD in clinical neurology in 2010 from University College London investigating non-motor features in Parkinson’s disease. To date, he has published approximately 80 peer-reviewed papers in high quality medical journals, and is the author of four book chapters.
