The Department would like to congratulate Professor Raj Chari, Professor of Political Science and Director of Trinity Research in Social Sciences (TRiSS), on his contribution to Ireland’s new National Economic Crime and Corruption Strategy.
Professor Chari has served on the Government’s Advisory Council Against Economic Crime and Corruption since its establishment in 2022, contributing his extensive expertise in transparency, lobbying regulation and public policy.
His international policy and research experience includes advising governments and institutions on lobbying legislation, contributing expertise to the Council of Europe and European Parliament, and authoring reports for the United Nations.
We are delighted to see Professor Chari’s expertise contributing to this important national strategy and to recognise his continued engagement at the intersection of research, public policy and good governance.
