Below are the Module Outlines for the PhD Programme.
The first year of the integrated Ph.D. programme includes the following compulsory modules in the 2026-27 academic year (Variations from the Quantitative Methods I module and/or the Quantitative Methods II module can be granted by the Ph.D. Director):

- POP77124: Causal Inference from Observational Data (5 ECTS)
- POP77201: Independent Study (Literature Review) (10 ECTS)
- POP77202: Independent Study (Research Proposal) (10 ECTS)
- POP77211: Independent Study (Further Piece of Dissertation Research) (10 ECTS)
- POP77082/77003: Quantitative Methods II (10 ECTS)
