PhD student Morad Mirzaei in the Discipline of Botany, School of Natural Sciences, has been awarded the ESAI Postgraduate Researcher of the Year 2025 for research project entitled “Assessing the role of multi-species swards in mitigating carbon and greenhouse gas emissions from intensively managed grasslands in Ireland”.
