In June 2018, Dr Joanne Rzepa, Thomas Brown Assistant Professor at Trinity's Department of Russian and Slavonic Studies, was interviewed by Sean Duke (East Coast FM) about her research into Holocaust writing in translation. This was part of the IRC-sponsored "Cool Science & Curious Minds" podcast series. You can listen to this here.
On European Research Night 2017, Trinity Centre for Literary and Cultural Translation hosted a 'translation duel'. Two literary translators, Antonia Lloyd-Jones and Cathal McCabe, translated a short prose poem by Paweł Huelle in advance of the duel. Aneta Stępień chaired a conversation about their translation choices and audience members were invited to ask questions, make comments and share their own translations suggestions.
