LLM and MSc Law and Finance students visit Irish Aviation Authority HQ.

On 18 October, Dr Ewa Komorek and students of the LL.M and MSc Law and Finance International Aviation Law module attended a guest lecture at the headquarters of the Irish Aviation Authority delivered by Mr Diarmuid Ó Conghaile, CEO of the IAA. This lecture focused on role the IAA plays in the regulation of the aviation sector in Ireland and the way it interacts with International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and the EU.
Since 2014, a student of this module who receives the highest overall mark wins a two-month internship with the legal department of the IAA. Many of the previous years' internship participants continue to work in the aviation industry.
