Scholars-Fellows2026

In one of the College’s oldest traditions, the Provost announced new Fellows and Scholars on Trinity Monday, 20 April 2026.  Being elected a Fellow or Scholar is considered a major honour and reflects the College’s emphasis on academic excellence and merit.  Fellowships are awarded on the grounds of distinction and scholarship, as shown through publications, contribution to academia and teaching in College.

This year we are delighted to announce Dr. David Fennelly SC was elected a Fellow.

10 of our current Senior Fresh (second year) students became Scholars this year.  The Foundation Scholarship examinations are a prestigious academic award for students, based solely on performance in a serious of special and extremely challenging examinations taken in January.  Students must attain first class honours to be eligible.  Scholars are entitled to 5 years of tuition fees, commons and college rooms free of charge, and modest annual stipend.
