We support the approval of business cases through the Universitys governancestructures in addition to reviewing external financing options to support TrinitysStrategic Plan 2020-2025.Paul CooteProject AppraisalManagerProject AppraisalKey achievements include:\x01 Continuation of support for, monitoring of, and contribution to, capital projects across Trinity such as:\x01 E3 Learning Foundry\x01 Printing House Square\x01 Old Library Redevelopment Project\x01 Historic Accommodation Buildings\x01 Trinity South Renewal Project\x01 Student Centre & Student Accommodation\x01 Interim Exhibition & Printing House Renovations for the Book of Kells\x01 Management and oversight of these projects against plan as they advance through the Universitys approval process.\x01 Championed the first phase (Horizon 1) of the Post Graduate Renewal Programme, which is a key focus area of the Universitys Strategic Plan 2020-25, to address how we support postgraduate research students at all stages of the assessment process.TreasuryKey achievements include:\x01 Successfully drew down a 50m European Investment Bank loan in October 2021 for existing projects including the Old Library & Historic Accommodation Buildings.\x01 Negotiated a 15.8m loan for the Trinity East Freehold, which provides for full control of this estate.\x01 Agreed a swap line with Barclays Bank to mitigate interest rate risks.\x01 Expanded the Treasury deposit facilities by opening new accounts with AIB, Bank of Ireland, Lloyds bank plc (with further banks to follow).\x01 Updated Trinitys Treasury Policy for Finance Committee approval and recommendation to Board.\x01 Continued to develop and improve the monthly cash flow reporting cycle to provide detailed financial information on performance versus budget and variance analysis.\x01 Renewed the Trinity Fee Certainty Policy with Finance Committee and Board to provide multi annual fee certainty for students for the duration of their course.3738'
