The Centre for European Studies is affiliated with the School of Languages, Literatures and Cultural Studies, which offers a number of taught postgraduate programmes. We also welcome applications for postgraduate research in relevant disciplines.
Postgraduate Study
The Centre for European Studies does not currently offer a dedicated postgraduate degree programme, however the M.Phil. in Identities and Cultures of Europe is a popular option for our European Studies Graduands.
The School of Languages, Literatures and Cultural Studies offers a number of taught postgraduate programmes.
Doctoral Research
We welcome applications for postgraduate research at M.Litt. and Ph.D. level from suitably qualified applicants, in disciplines under the European Studies umbrella (French, German, Hispanic Studies, Italian, Russian and Slavonic Studies, Polish, History, Political Science, Economics, Sociology and Near and Middle Eastern Studies), and in particular where the proposed research has a cross-disciplinary focus.
