Philosophy, Political Science & Economics | TR015
Trinity's PPES programme is the only university degree in Ireland where students can combine the study of philosophy, political science, economics and sociology. PPES provides an integrated multidisciplinary education, with students studying four subjects that are central to understanding any society.

Is it for me?
PPES is ideal for students who are curious about how societies are structured, how decisions are made, and how ideas shape the world. If you're interested in exploring complex issues through different disciplinary lenses - and want to understand, question, and influence the systems around you - PPES offers an intellectually rewarding path.
Course Structure
PPES is an extremely flexible degree which allows gradual specialisation over the course of the four-year programme. Ten different degree options are available across the four disciplines with students ultimately having the option to just study economics (single honours) or to combine with political science, philosophy or sociology (joint honours). In all cases students graduate with a B.A. (Moderatorship) in Philosophy, Political Science, Economics and Sociology.
