Academic Prizes
Each year, the Department of Economics awards a prize to the top-performing MSc student, in honour of one of Trinity’s most distinguished alumni in the field of economics.
The W. M. (Terence) Gorman Prize
Founded by a bequest from Mrs Dorinda Gorman in memory of her husband, W. M. (Terence) Gorman, a renowned economist and Trinity graduate of 1948, this prize recognises outstanding academic achievement in the MSc in Economics.
The prize is adjudicated by the external examiners and awarded to the best-performing student each year.
