Professor Carol Newman moderated the short event on Tuesday afternoon. She thanked the students for their hard work and dedication to the internships and mentioned that she hoped the work had inspired them to take the path of economics research in their future careers.

These research assistant internships are offered to undergraduate students facing into their senior sophister years. Students are assessed via a take-home assignment and, if successful, are assigned to supervisors based on their research preferences and supervisor-student needs.

Registration for next summer's internships will be open during Hilary Term.
