Biography

Tsenguunjav Byambasuren is an Assistant Professor in Economics at the Department of Economics, Trinity College Dublin. His research interests are in labour and development economics, focusing on the origins and consequences of firms' labour market power, a key source of income inequality. He also studies topics to understand and inform policies that improve the well-being of vulnerable communities, particularly women and children in developing countries. Tsenguunjav obtained his Ph.D. from Cornell University in 2025.
