Scientists at Trinity College Dublin have secured €690,000 in Enterprise Ireland funding to develop an environmentally friendly biopesticide aimed at combating the Cabbage Stem Flea Beetle, a major pest responsible for significant losses in European oilseed rape crops. Through the AgriWave project, researchers hope to provide farmers with a sustainable alternative to conventional pesticides while helping to protect crop yields, pollinators and food supply chains across Europe.
