Researchers from Trinity College Dublin, in collaboration with SMBC and SMBC Aviation Capital, have published a new report highlighting the challenges facing the widespread adoption of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF). The report identifies key barriers including financing, infrastructure, regulatory uncertainty and fuel certification, while outlining practical recommendations to accelerate SAF production and support aviation's transition to net zero emissions.
