Michael Lynham

Biography

Michael is the former Marketing and Business Development Manager at the Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport and a past Editor of Linkline, the professional journal for transport, logistics, and supply chain management. He has published over 40 articles on global supply chains and holds a graduate qualification in Supply Chain Innovation from the University of Twente.
With extensive teaching experience across multiple higher education institutions, Michael has also played a leading role in developing sustainability and supply chain micro‑credentials with Skillnet Ireland. He was recently honoured with a Climate Leadership Award by Trinity College Dublin and is a graduate of the SGD Academy.
Michael is a Fellow of Advance HE and a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport, and currently serves as a member of the Logistics and Supply Chain Skills Group (LSCSG) at the Department of Transport. In 2025, he was awarded Best Master’s Lecturer in the UK and Ireland. He is the Director of Programming for European Supply Chain Day at Trinity College Dublin
