Michael Lynham

Biography

Michael is the former Marketing and Business Development Manager at the Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport and a past Editor of Linkline, the professional journal for transport, logistics, and supply chain management. He has published over 40 articles on global supply chains and holds a graduate qualification in Supply Chain Innovation from the University of Twente.
With extensive teaching experience across multiple higher education institutions, Michael has also played a leading role in developing sustainability and supply chain micro‑credentials with Skillnet Ireland. He was recently honoured with a Climate Leadership Award by Trinity College Dublin and is a graduate of the SGD Academy.
Michael is a Fellow of Advance HE and a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport, and currently serves as a member of the Logistics and Supply Chain Skills Group (LSCSG) at the Department of Transport. In 2025, he was awarded Best Master’s Lecturer in the UK and Ireland.
