Academic Affairs played a key role in the development of two new Tertiary degrees offered by the School of Nursing and Midwifery, in partnership with City of Dublin ETB and the National Tertiary Office. This is a 1+4 model, whereby students undertake a Level 5 Nursing Studies programme in a FET College before progressing to Trinity to either a B.Sc. in Mental Health Nursing or Intellectual Disability Nursing. The proposal provides 15 places per programme, five of which will be reserved for students from the Traveller and Roma Communities. The new pathways are the first tertiary degrees undertaken by Trinity and align with the 2025-2030 Trinity’s strategic plan and commitment to widening participation and creating alternative pathways to higher education.
Applications are now open via National Tertiary Office
