Competences and Skills

Students in the Department of Religions and Theology are equipped with the competences and skills to pursue as wide a variety of careers as other arts graduates.

Typical skills and competences include:
Articulacy, conceptual, analytic and interpretive precision, imagination and critically informed thinking about religious and cultural encounters over three millennia.

Many of our students enter the world of work immediately after attaining their degree. A recent survey conducted by the Careers Advisory Service (CAS) demonstrates that Trinity College arts graduates are much sought after by employers in every area of the professions, business, and industry. Many of our students go on to do postgraduate study and find that the interdisciplinary competence they have acquired equips them well for many different further specializations.
