STEM@UNIVERSI-TY 


Transition Year students on the STEM@Universi-TY programme will remotely engage in up to four 6-week long modules. Student will have access to recorded lectures from Trinity professors, attend live webinars, prepare and submit assignments, receive feedback and take an optional college exam.

Modules will cover first-year, college-level topics from across the Faculty of STEM, in areas including:

  • Physics
  • Earth Sciences
  • Computer Science
  • Zoology
  • Engineering
  • Maths
  • Botany

Students are only required to attend live webinar sessions on Thursdays from 4:30-5:45pm*. The live sessions are not recorded therefore all students must be able to attend on Thursdays.

These focused modular College experiences will enrich the student’s TY portfolio, enhance their readiness to transition to University, and support them in becoming a fluent 21st-century digital learner.

Who Can Apply?

4th year students

Places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Students from non-native, English-speaking countries must apply through Emerald Cultural Institute, who will manage the application process and assess their English level.

 

Technical Information 

All STEM@Universi-TY activities are hosted through Microsoft Teams. This platform provides us all with stable and secure features. We recommend that you use a large screen i.e., a desktop or laptop, however you will be able to use any device with internet access and audio/video capabilities.
