Collide (Forensic Investigation)

Collide is a forensic science camp where students take on the role of investigators. Each day introduces a new piece of the puzzle—analysing motion, identifying substances, and reconstructing events using scientific evidence.

Students will analyse projectile paths to determine where objects came from, use chromatography to separate and identify substances, investigate blood spatter patterns and what they reveal, and explore collisions and forces to understand accidents

By the end of the week, they'll bring everything together in a mock trial, presenting evidence and defending their conclusions.

It's a mix of hands-on experiments, problem-solving, and storytelling—where science is used to answer real questions.
