Composer Judith Ring in Conversation with Evangelia Rigaki, School of Creative Arts, organised by the Music Composition Centre seminar series.

The conversation will explore how narrative can be expressed through instrumental music, and how composers can use it to engage with global events and perspectives on the past, present and future.

Her work has been described as “endlessly inventive” (Journal of Music); “shimmers with light” (The Irish Times) and “emotionally engaging and in parts sublime” (The Morning Star).
She has written pieces for top ensembles and soloists including Concorde ensemble, Crash, National Symphony Orchestra of Ireland, the Guinness choir, ConTempo quartet and two of Australia’s finest musicians Alex Raineri and Lina Andonovska.
