The School of Languages, Literatures and Cultural Studies at Trinity College Dublin and the School of Modern Languages, Literatures and Cultures at Maynooth University are delighted to present this symposium revisiting the legacy of Argentinian writer and investigative journalist Rodolfo Walsh (1927–1977).

Taking Walsh's life, work, and Irish heritage as a point of departure, the symposium brings together perspectives from Argentina and Ireland to explore questions of memory, literature, translation, and cultural exchange. Key highlights include keynote speakers: Sarah O'Brien and Jorge Fondebrider; paper presentations; book launch: María Medina, Irish Narratives in Argentina: Diaspora, Memory, and Identity (Palgrave, 2026); panel discussion: 'Argentina in Ireland: Memory, Culture, and the Arts'.
