Learn about our ongoing work on sign language interpreter-mediated primary school education in Europe as part of the IDE Project: Building More Inclusive Education for Deaf Children.
The IDE Project brings together researchers, educators, schools, and Deaf community organisations from Ireland, Germany, Norway, and Belgium to explore what meaningful inclusion looks like for deaf signing children. Through research, collaboration, and engagement with schools, teachers, interpreters, SNAs, deaf children and Deaf communities the project is identifying best practices that support access to learning, participation, and educational success.
Join us to learn how this international partnership is helping shape practical resources and evidence-based approaches that can create more inclusive learning environments for deaf children, their families, and the professionals who support them.
