The Gender and AI Symposium gathers academic experts working, at varying stages of career, on the intersection of gender and AI studies.

The Symposium will take place on June 3rd 2026 at the Neill Lecture theatre of Trinity Long Room Hub, Trinity College, University of Dublin.

We are excited to welcome Keynote Speaker Professor Louise Amoore (Durham University), Plenary Speaker Dr Matthew Abbey (University of Leeds), 20 expert panelists and poster presenters, and practice-based scholars concerned with understanding the impacts of the AI and ICT Industry developments here in Ireland.

The event is hosted by Dr Jenny Carla Moran (postdoctoral researcher, Trinity Long Room Hub) in partnership with the joint TCD-TU Dublin Centre for the Sociology of Humans and Machines (SOHAM) and Trinity's newly-launched Counter Data Lab.
