Book Launch - Implementing Design-Based Research in Education
Join us on the 4th November for the Launch of Implementing Design-Based Research in Education organised by the School of Education.
Please register here.
This new publication explores the practical application of design-based research within educational settings, offering insights into how researchers and practitioners can collaboratively design, implement, and refine innovative approaches to teaching and learning. Bringing together theory and practice, the book highlights the potential of design-based research to generate meaningful educational change while addressing real-world challenges.
We look forward to welcoming colleagues, students, researchers, policymakers, practitioners, family, and friends for an evening of conversation, reflection, and celebration. With Professor Joseph Roche, Associate Dean of Research at Trinity College Dublin, leading the proceedings, the authors, in conversation with Elliott Masie of the Masie Learning Foundation, will explore the value of creativity and curiosity in educational innovation, the role of research in informing policy and practice, and the unique contribution of design-based research in addressing complex educational challenges. The evening will conclude with an informal reception, offering opportunities for networking and discussion.
This event is run in accordance with Trinity’s Dignity and Respect policy, and its commitment to nurturing a respectful and inclusive research culture.
