A one day symposium organised by the School of English (Eilis Smyth, RIS awardee).
Please register for the event here.
This one-day symposium brings together a range of scholars working on Irish Shakespeare and Theatre History. At the heart of the conference is the 18th century Irish stage but contributions will range from the Restoration-era to the present day. The symposium reassesses and celebrates Ireland’s role in Shakespeare’s long legacy on both the Irish stage and page. Full programme available on the sign up page above.
