Dr. Annemarie Bennett
Assistant Professor in Dietetics, Clinical Medicine

Biography

I am a registered dietitian (DI007571) who completed the undergraduate programme in dietetics in Trinity College and Dublin Institute of Technology. I completed my PhD studies in 2016, during which I explored maternal and paternal influences in infant diet throughout the first year of life.

My research interests include the dietary intake of infants, toddlers, and school-age children. I am particularly interested in the psychosocial and cultural factors that influence the development of dietary patterns in early life. I also have a strong interest in health promotion in the adult population, and more recently have become involved in investigations into the diet of oesophageal cancer survivors and its impact on their quality of life.

Annemarie's preferred pronouns are She and Her.
