Biography
Dr. Ubaid lllahi is a Research Fellow in the Department of Civil, Structural and Environmental Engineering at Trinity College Dublin. Prior to this, he worked as Post-Doctoral Research Associate at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore, India. He holds Ph.D. and M.Tech degrees in Transportation Engineering and Planning and B.Tech degree in Civil Engineering. Dr. Ubaid is passionate to contribute towards the planning and policy of safe, green, and sustainable transportation. His research interest lies in the nexus of human behavior and the movement of people and goods. Currently, he is working on an interdisciplinary project called TRAnsport behaviour Change Trials (TRACT) funded by Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI). So far, he has published in Transport Reviews (Taylor and Francis), Ecological Indicators (Elsevier), Case Studies on Transport Policy (Elsevier), Evaluation and Program Planning (Elsevier), Environment, Development and Sustainability (Springer), Journal of Science and Technology Policy Management (Emerald), and European Transport/Trasporti Europei (Giordano Editore).
