The Oversight Group on Institutional International Links was created following a decision of Board on 25th March to implement some of the recommendations arising from the Taskforce on Academic and Institutional Links. It is charged with:
- Providing advice to members of the College Community on the operationalisation of the Board decision of June 4th 2025 to implement some of the recommendations arising from the work of the Taskforce on Academic and Institutional Links.
- Providing advice to College Board on rescinding current or future decisions to restrict institutional international links in relation to research collaborations, student exchanges and commercial relationships (including investments and suppliers).
- Considering concerns raised by the College Community in relation to specific jurisdictions, or entities within jurisdictions, and provide advice to Board, where there are violations of international humanitarian law and/or they are guilty of serious human rights violations, and such violations are verified by recognised international bodies.
The IIL Oversight Group is Chaired by the Senior Dean, and has a membership from across the College community, in addition to a number of external members
