On his return to Trinity, Linda hosted the Lord Mayor of the City of London, Ald. Nicholas Lyons.  

Ald. Lyons’ father, Francis Stewart Leland Lyons, was Provost of Trinity from 1974 to 1981. 

 

The Lord Mayor was joined on his visit by the British Ambassador to Ireland, Paul Johnston.
