Connecting Nature (2017-2022) is a €11.5m Horizon 2020 project led by the School of Natural Sciences. It is seeking to innovate with nature-based solutions and consists of 31 partners in 11 countries as well as hubs in China, Korea, Brazil and the Caucuses. Sharecity

SHARECITY (2015-2020) will establish the significance and potential of food sharing economies to transform cities onto more sustainable pathways. It uses a collaborative and trans-disciplinary approach to assess the practice and sustainability potential of city-based food sharing economies. Geofin

GEOFIN (2016-2021)  examines the way in which Western banks conquered Eastern Europe following the collapse of communism. East-Central Europe is being used as a laboratory to understand how finance penetrates post-communist economies that were previously built on opposite principles. Poshbee

The Climate Change and Land Use in Ireland Project (2018-2020)

The Climate Change and Land Use in Ireland Project (2018-2020) investigates the interactions between climate change and land use in Ireland and also engages with the Intergovernmental panel on climate change (IPCC) on the Special Report on Climate Change and Land. The PALEOCARBON project

The PALEOCARBON project (2019-2022) aims to constrain processes & intensity of silicate weathering and its carbon drawdown potential during Paleogene greenhouse climate and to constrain the role of plants in mediating weathering processes. For more information contact Dr Weimu Xu.
