Encouraging participation and success in higher education
The 1916 Bursary aims to encourage participation and success by students who are most socio-economically disadvantaged and from groups most under-represented in higher education.
Applications for 2026/2027 will open for applications on Thursday, 3 September at 9.00am and will close on Friday, 9 October at 5.00pm.
Who is the 1916 Bursary for?
First time entrants of an undergraduate programme, full or part time, with a household reckonable income of less than €28,600.
