The Law Student Colloquium

The Colloquium is a prestigious, student-run conference held annually at Trinity College. Organised by law students, it provides a platform for peers at all levels, from Ireland and abroad, to present their research, hosting over 100 delegates and dozens of speakers.
Mission
A core mission is the encouragement of undergraduate speakers, with prizes awarded for the best participants. The Colloquium has previously been addressed by eminent figures including Mr Justice Ronan Keane, Mrs Justice Catherine McGuinness and Mr Justice Gerard Hogan.
Accessibility and Benefits
The event is free to attend, secured by sponsorship from law firms and the "Friends of the Colloquium." Involvement also enables students to gain valuable skills in organisation, communication, and legal research.
Trinity College Law Review (T.C.L.R.)

Currently in its twenty-eighth year, the TCLR is Ireland’s oldest and leading student-edited law journal. We receive over 140 article submissions each year, from students and recent graduates around the world. The TCLR is published in March. Other articles are also published on a regular basis via our internet platform, TCLR Online.
In addition to producing a respected journal, the TCLR prides itself on promoting discourse by means of its Distinguished Speaker Series. Previous guests include Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Lord Hoffmann, and Professor Cass Sunstein.
The TCLR is comprised of a junior editorial board and a senior editorial board. The junior board is primarily responsible for assisting the senior board with editorial work and event coordination. The junior board is comprised entirely of first year law students. No legal writing experience is necessary to be considered for a position. The junior board is a wonderful opportunity to meet fellow first year students, as well as students from senior years. It also provides an excellent chance to develop skills of legal writing and analysis.

The Eagle

The Eagle is a unique publication of its kind in both Trinity College and Ireland, published bi-annually by the law students of Trinity College. The Eagle aims to give students a platform to write about legal and political issues that are important to them. It is a forum which also aims to bring life after college to an accessible level, with a featured careers section with advice and interviews from former alumni of Trinity College and law graduates. Furthermore, the social section serves as a snapshot of the best social nights hosted for law students. The Eagle welcomes submissions on a broad range of topics from all disciplines. It serves as a great opportunity for students to publish their work on issues that they are passionate about.
