E3 has announced it will host a critical virtual event, International Climate Action Day 2025, on Friday, October 24, 2025, from 13:00 - 14:00 hrs. The session is scheduled to coincide with the International Day of Climate Action, providing a platform for leading academic, environmental, and social innovation experts to discuss the urgent need for climate change mitigation and action.

The one-hour virtual panel will feature a distinguished line-up of speakers dedicated to addressing the complex challenges of the climate crisis:

  • Prof. Anna Davies and Dr. Silvia Caldararu from the School of Natural Sciences

  • Stephen Treacy from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)

  • Dr. Gemma Donnelly-Cox, Director of the Centre for Social Innovation

Speakers will share their specialised insights, ranging from the latest scientific findings to the implementation of effective policy and the role of societal change in fostering sustainable futures.

"The climate crisis demands more than just awareness; it demands decisive action and collaboration across all sectors," said Michael Lynham, E3 Marketing Manager. "This panel represents the necessary convergence of academic research, governmental policy, and social innovation. We urge everyone to join this vital conversation and be part of the solution."

The event is open to the public, businesses, students, and policymakers interested in understanding the current climate landscape and identifying pathways for meaningful action.
