Prof. Gemma Berenguer

Biography

Professor Berenguer is an Associate Professor and Ramón y Cajal Fellow at UC3M, where she also serves as Vice Dean of the Bachelor of Management and Technology. She earned her Ph.D. in Operations Research from the University of California, Berkeley, and previously held a faculty position at Purdue University. Her research focuses on nonprofit supply chain management, sustainable operations, and supply chain design, with publications in leading journals such as Management Science and Operations Research. She teaches at undergraduate, Master, and Executive levels and has collaborated with organizations across multiple industries. She also holds editorial roles in major journals and has received awards including the POM Journal Skinner Best Paper Award and the INFORMS SOLA Dissertation Award.
