Our Montessori-inspired room welcomes children aged 3.5 to 5 years into a spacious, bright, and thoughtfully prepared environment. The room is equipped with a wide range of Montessori materials and other engaging resources designed to support your child’s development across all areas. It also includes its own toilet area to encourage independence and self-care.
In addition to Montessori, we embrace a play-based emergent curriculum and draw from a variety of early childhood education theorists to support the different developmental stages of each child. This blended approach allows us to meet the unique needs, interests, and abilities of every child in our care. At the Day Nursery, we use specialized materials and child-led learning strategies to foster independence, motivation, and choice—key qualities that prepare children for primary school and beyond.
Our qualified staff adapt daily activities at the room level, ensuring that each child receives a personalised learning experience. We provide manageable challenges that nurture self-esteem and inspire joyful exploration and learning.
Our Curriculum Includes:
-
Sensorial Activities
These enhance observation, perception, and communication skills by stimulating the senses—laying a strong foundation for future math and language learning. -
Literacy & Language
Using Montessori tools like Sandpaper Letters and Classified Cards, children begin to understand phonetics and the alphabet, building early reading and writing skills. -
Mathematics
Children explore numbers, quantities, and operations through hands-on materials that promote a deep, sensory understanding of mathematical concepts. -
Cultural Activities
We expand children’s knowledge of science, geography, history, music, and the arts. The natural world is explored, and diverse cultures are celebrated. -
Creative Activities
These include cooking, singing, dancing, role-playing, and language learning. With over 20 nationalities represented at our nursery, children benefit from a rich multicultural experience.
