Group of CRR students visiting Peace Boat in BelfastPeace Boat is a Japan-based NGO that travels the world on educational voyages to promote peace, human rights, and sustainability. On 7 October 2026, the ship and its 1600 passengers stopped in Belfast, where Belfast-based MPhil in Conflict Resolution and Reconciliation students were invited on board for a tour. This included an exhibition on the Hibakusha, the survivors of the atomic bomb attacks who campaign against nuclear weapons and won the Nobel Peace Prize in 2024.
