Trinity’s commitment to scholarships goes back to the Foundation Scholarships established in its early years. It gained new momentum in recent years with the Trinity Access scholarships set up to tackle educational disadvantage. Trinity Access has inspired over 3,000 students to come to the College.
The Trinity Centre for People with Intellectual Disabilities is paving the way for people with intellectual disabilities to become university students and graduates, developing skills that lead to employment and independent lives.
Today our student community reflects the rich diversity of Irish society and Trinity is recognised as a world leader in educational access.
In 2016 PhD Project Awards were established to bring the brightest research talent to the University.
Other scholarships rewarding excellence in particular areas of study or sports are generously supported by Trinity alumni and friends. Inspiring Generations will develop scholarships across the College so that every talented student is able to realise their full potential.
