Trinity Access – Transforming Education
Trinity Access works with primary and secondary-level schools to empower and inspire students and teachers and to encourage and strengthen the culture of attending college in communities that have been under-represented in third-level education.
Trinity Access supports mentoring programmes, the national College Awareness Week project, and pathways to professions programmes including law, business and technology.
Students are offered alternative admission routes to Trinity via the Foundation Course and the national HEAR scheme. When students reach Trinity, they are offered personal, financial and academic support from Trinity Access.
Trinity Access has inspired similar access programmes in other universities. Lady Margaret Hall college in Oxford University have modelled their Foundation Year on the Trinity Access Foundation Year.
Inspiring Generations helps Trinity Access reach their goal of transforming the Irish education system so that every student is given the opportunity to reach their full potential.
