On January 26 Prof. Deborah A. Frank MD presented on ‘Measuring Hardship and the Well-Being of Low Income Infants and Toddlers’.

Prof. Frank is a Professor of Pediatrics at Boston University School of Medicine and founder and Principal Investigator of the Children’s Health Watch (, Dr. Deborah A. Frank MD’s work has focused on the clinical care of impoverished children with failure to thrive and on research on the impact of material hardships on the health, growth, and development of impoverished children in the United States under the age of three. She has published multiple chapters and peer reviewed articles and testified before Congressional Committees on the issues. She recently received a Physician Advocate Award from the Institute on Medicine as a Profession at Columbia University.
