The Kemble Lecture 2025 - Myths and Monsters: Beowulf and the Etymologists
The Kemble Lecture 2025 will be given by Prof Richard Dance (University of Cambridge) and is organised by the School of English.
Since 2005 the School of English has sponsored the annual Kemble lecture, a public lecture on any aspect of Old English language, literature, history or culture, given by a distinguished scholar in their field. In 2025 we are delighted to welcome Richard Dance, Professor of Early English at the university of Cambridge.
