Welcome to Trinity Teaching and Learning

Trinity Teaching & Learning (TT&L) provides services and supports to the University's Faculties and Schools and other academic-related departments, to both enable and enhance the university's key functions of learning and teaching and associated student-related services. TT&L is a core part of Trinity College's Academic Services Division, which is led by the Vice-Provost and Chief Academic Officer, Professor Orla Sheils.

The Senior Lecturer and Dean of Undergraduate Studies is responsible for undergraduate studies across the entire College and also provides academic leadership for Trinity Teaching & Learning (TT&L). The Dean of Graduate Studies is responsible for graduate studies across the College and provides academic leadership and direction on postgraduate matters. The academic leadership of TT&L has been strengthened in 2026 by the addition of an Associate Dean of Graduate Studies who has particular responsible for taught postgraduate studies and academic leadership in this domain.

The Academic Secretary provides executive leadership and management for Trinity Teaching & Learning and oversees its strategic direction and operations.
