The 33rd Trinity Secondhand Booksale 2026 will be held on Tuesday 10th February (4pm to 7pm), Wednesday 11th (10am to 6pm), & Half Price Thursday 12th (10am to 2pm). Admission €3 on Tuesday, free on Wednesday & Thursday. Rare book auction on Tuesday 5.30pm. Proceeds go to support the purchase of research materials in the College libraries. 

Thousands of books will be for sale on a variety of subjects, but especially strong on Ireland, Irish literature and history. There are many books from the library of the late Prof. Brendan Kennelly (1936-2021) – Professor of Modern Literature at Trinity College Dublin until 2005 – and a collection of books on Chinese culture and language.

The auction catalogue will be available from 29th January 2026.
