Election to Fellowship 2025-26

Fellowship Applications for 2025-26 are now Closed.

Trinity College Dublin was founded as a corporation consisting of the Provost, the Fellows, and the Scholars. Fellows are elected annually on Trinity Monday. During Michaelmas term 2025, the Central Fellowship Committee will begin to prepare recommendations for nomination to Fellowship for 2025-26. The deadline for submitting Fellowship applications was 24 September, and this has now passed.

Distinction in scholarship or research achievement is the primary qualification for Fellowship. Achievement in scholarship and research will be assessed primarily through publication record. Work expressed in a form other than publication will be considered, provided that it may be subjected to scholarly analysis and independent assessment. Evidence of the Fellowship candidate’s contribution to College life and academic promise are important elements of an application. Contribution to the development of their subject nationally and internationally will also be considered.
